Crisp, clean pages except for some foxing along the head edges, as well as small adhesions where five of the thumb tabs have lost their labels; no owners' marks; the flexible cloth cover shows some fraying at corners and lighter shelfwear at spine ends, otherwise excellent. The dust jacket is noticeably worn, with scuffing and spotting along the sides of the spine, short edge tears and creases around top and bottom, age-toning in light-colored areas, and some material loss at the top right front, but it is now protected in a clear sleeve. xi, 2482pp. incl. index.; 12mo.
