About This Item
The First UK printing published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1959. The BOOK is in near Fine condition. Very light pushing at the spine tips with a tiny bump to the front upper corner. Some light toning and spotting to the text-block with mild offsetting to the prelims. Free from inscriptions and erasures. The WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good++ condition. Mild edge-wear with some small closed tears at the upper and lower spine folds. A little age related markings in places. Toning, light rubbing and some light marks to the spine. The wrapper artwork by John Nunnery remains very attractive in the removable Brodart archival cover. The fourth historical novel by Jean Plaidy writing as Ellalice Tate. They were all reissued at a later date under the name of Jean Plaidy. A very elusive title to find in such collectible condition. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
