About This Item

This french language book was published in the International Modern Language Series by Finn & Co., Boston. Edited and Annotated by George W. Rollins. Binding has some bumps, soiling and a little warping to front cover. Hinges are tight. Pages are clean and un-torn. Ink inscription on FFEP and pencil name underneath. The story tells the tale of an invading French Republican army fighting the Austrian and Prussian forces and one of the cantinieres named Therese who is wounded and taken in by a family who she comes to love.

All proceeds benefit The Friends of the San Anselmo Library. No expedited shipping outside of the United States.
