A police procedural by a former Metropolitan Police officer who rose to become Superintendent of the CID. First U.S. edition, published in England as "The Rogue's Syndicate." Basis for the 1917 movie "The Maelstrom" starring Earle Williams. Ex-library with a sticke and numbers on the spine, a label on the front pastedown, and the letter "D" written on the first page. Lightly bumped and rubbed, spine slightly sunned, with the hinges a bit loose.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Ex-Library.
