The autobiography of the English psychical researcher George Sandwith. The author was presented with a wonder-working icon in Abyssinia in the 1940s, which, he believed, opened the door to contact with invisible beings who continued to guid and protect him. Magical Mission traces Sandwith's adventures and psychical investigations as he traverses Africa, Polynesia and Britain.
