Crowley's masterpiece, the work into which he poured his knowledge of the Astral and other planes. It is in three parts, the first two of which cover the principles of Yoga, and of Ceremonial Magic as taught in the Golden Dawn where he served his apprenticeship from 1898 to 1900. The third and major part, which was written mainly in his Abbey of Thelma in Sicily between 1920 and 1923, contains his own system of practical occultism. Crowley's Magick is a doctrine and a technique for establishing contact with extra-terrestrial entities - spirits, demons, elementals - for the purpose of extending human consciousness and expanding life to cosmic proportions.
