Parchment-backed green vellum lettered and stamped in gilt; top edge gilt, others uncut (and substantially unopened); covers a little rubbed and sunned; endpapers browned; some trifling spots of foxing; an excellent copy in the slightly worn slipcase. Number 214 of 525 copies signed by the author. The first book of the 'End of the Chapter' trilogy, a sequel to the Forsyte Saga.
