Boston: Houghton Mifflin Co., 1986. First Edition. Near fine in 1/4 navy blue cloth and yellow paper covered boards with red text on the spine. An octavo of 8 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches with an inconsequential dampness stain at the lower edge of the front board with a minor bleed of color to the lower edges of the first two pages. In a very good+, price clipped dust jacket with the spine area slightly faded and a minor red stain to the lower edge of the front panel. 333 numbered pages containing an index, bibliography, note and text. Illustrated with a frontispiece map and a section of images from earlier works of art and black and white photographs.
