London: Macmillan, 1889. Gilt title and decoration to spine, gilt fleur-de-lys motif, decoration and rules to front on green cloth boards. Boards are clean and unmarked with only a little wear to spine head and tail. Internally very clean, tight and unmarked. Top edge gilt and green endpapers. A Very Good + copy of this work first printed in 1876. With frontispiece portrait of Savonarola engraved by C.H. Jeens tissue guarded and 53 illustrations from drawings by by Professor Delamotte. xx and 422 pages + publisher's catalogue. A most attractive volume in very good condtion. C3B. Hard Cover. Very Good TEG/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
