[London]: (The Red Hen Press, 1986). First edition. Number 19 of 200 copies SIGNED BY JONES and with an aquatint relief etching tipped in ALSO SIGNED BY JONES. Small 4to illustrated cloth boards; type handset in 18-pt Baskerville and printed on Rives mould-made paper. The "Ellor-gast" of the title was printed in 1986 in an edition of 40 with 8 aquatints and 8 translations of Old English poetry exploring the theme of the monster in Beowulf. This book prints Jones's speech on the making of that book for the Williamsburg Bibliophiles delivered at The Bookpress Ltd. Fine. Issued without a dust jacket.
