Evansville, Indiana: Servel, Inc., 1947. Staplebound. Black illustrated wraps. Very good. 47 pages. 22 x 13.5 cm. The Servel Company (formerly Servel-Electrolux) was an American producers of heating and cooling appliances founded in 1922 by Colonel William McCurdy. This recipe book includes various dishes made possible by electric cooling and advertises for Servel’s Electrolux home refrigerator. Black and white illustrations and food photographs mixed with recipes throughout. This edition also includes information about nutrition and creating well-balanced meals as well as guides on how to identify healthy foods. Small water stain on cover, interior clean and crisp.
