About This Item
London : Faber and Faber, 1979. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. 191 pages, indexed, illustrated, bibliography. The book is ex library. The jacket was once covered with mylar, and a small section of the brown paper was attached to the boards. I have left as is. It's bumped at the head, with a short tear at the head of the spine; the flaps are clipped front and back, head and tail. The front end paper suffers from minor damage where the bar code and presumably a library label was removed. There is a cancelled stamp on the title page and again on the copyright one.; the remnant of a date due slip on back end paper and a library pocket on the back paste down. The issues are all aesthetic. Past the title page the body of the book is in excellent condition, clean, unmarked and solid. CONTENTS: Instruments: The viol; The lute; The violin; The classical guitar; The harpsichord; Restoration and conservation of historical musical instruments.
