McCombs was a native of Hamburg, Arkansas and was a key player in the Election of 1912 at Wilson's request. However, in 1916 he deserted Wilson on the grounds that he had violated his " one term " pledge. Name of previous owner on front endpaper. Cloth is worn. However, book is sound and tight. Illustrated.
