No knowledge of optics or astronomy required, no complicated math. Author was an instructor with the Amateur Astronomers Assoc headquartered at the Hayden Planetarium in New York. A FIRST EDITION, First printing from 1947, this hardcover book is in Near fine condition: orange cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to front & spine are completely clean & bright, binding straight & strong, hinges intact, pages off-white with mild tanning to extremities.
