Both maps are intact.Green cloth boards with gold-stamped cartouche of the Smithsonian on front board are intact with the spine loosely attached. Front pastedown has the signature of W.P. Taylor (1888 - ??) at the University of California Museum of Vetenary Zoology in Berkeley. Taylor served as Assistant Curator and later Curator of Mammals from 1909-1916, before going to work for the Bureau of Biological Survey.. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
