The second collection of wisdom from the Old Mandarin, one of the author's best-loved characters. Christopher Morley (1890-1957) was an American writer whose versatile works are lighthearted, vigorous displays of the English language. Inscribed and dated by Christopher Morley on the front flyleaf. Octavo. The original black cloth binding is rather faded along the spine. Some general minor shelfwear to the dust jacket; otherwise very good. Inscribed by Author.
