8vo, aqua blue cloth with silver titles, 408pp. Stated first edition. Price clipped dust jacket shows small chips and tears to front panel, a bit of loss to head and foot of spine. Interior clean and bright, binding firm. A memoir by the Jesuit priest, Catholic convert, American racial justice activist and son of the American painter of the same name. Book is offered together with 'On Turning Seventy', a small pamphlet printed for friends upon the author's seventieth birthday, published by the America Press. A handsome copy in mylar.
