As issued, backed in vellum with cloth over boards; all twelve colored plates are present as well as many in-text line drawing by Austen. Tail of the spine is worn; vellum is discolored; minor soiling to the covers; contemporary owner name on the front free endpaper shows evidence of erasure with some minimal abrasion to the paper; generally quite clean but for a few instances of scattered and light smudges in the some margins. Austen's illustrations are quite vivid and striking and this is the only edition of Austen's Art Deco-influenced designs.
