Vox Illustrated edition, near fine gray cloth hardcover (5 by 71/2 inches) with letter and design in dark blue shows just a touch of shelf wear, light bit of soil at page edges, hint of fade to blue top edge of pages and some other very minor trace wear, in very good dust jacket illustrated with one of the color plates within that is clipped at all four corners of inner flaps and shows exposure darkening and faint staining along spine, mild soil, wrinkling to upper ha;lf portion of spine and light edge wear that includes tiny closed tears and tiny open chips. 414 pages with 8 full page color plates and some small in text black & white illustrations. This remains an attractive copy of this edition of Austen's much beloved novel that features the illustrations by the noted French writer and illustrator.

Synopsis

Mansfield Park is a novel by Jane Austen, written at Chawton Cottage between 1812 and 1814. It was published in July 1814 by Thomas Egerton, who published Jane Austen's two earlier novels, Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice. When the novel reached a second edition, its publication was taken over by John Murray, who also published its successor, Emma.
