About This Item

This is a rather unique offering. This is a guide for listeners of a radio program in 1940 and 1941 on NBC radio. The show featured the homes of famous creative Americans, from Brunswick Maine to Hollywood, California. The guide has a page of text about the person and home with a photograph of the home on the facing page. 33 programs were broadcast in that season, including the homes of luminaries such as Noah Webster, Mark Twain, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Horatio Alger, Booker T. Washington, Edith Wharton, Benjamin Franklin, and 26 others. When the listener ordered this book, it came with a letter from the host, which is contained in this book, in pristine condition. (See photos) The book shows very little wear. This is not a reprint or POD.
