Small 8vo, original cloth with gilt illustration on covers and gilt lettering on spine, illustrated, 434 pp. Binding worn and chipped, some pieces missing from backstrip at spine and extremities, some signatures slightly sprung, a couple of pages a bit browned, normal aging. One folding plate with splits at folds, some with a little marginal staining or soiling, but plates and maps are generally in very good condition. Complete. This volume includes a folding map of the City of New York, a view of a flourishing city in 1746, Union Park, and another folding map plan of New York City in 1804. Lawrence p. 6-8.
