[Title page missing]: [No Title Page]. 405 pages. A vintage copy. I can't see a removal scar for the title page and the pagination could be right if one of the free endpapers is counted. One free endpaper is matching the pastedown in brown and the other free endpaper matches the white pages. The preface declares to be "To the fifth edition of tactics, being the first edition of tactics and manual". A testamonial letter has a date of 1878 and I can find no later date mentioned throughout close examination of the book. A fascinating manual illustrating many formation drills, uniforms and providing much information and history on Masonic affairs and rituals. A decent tight copy - but probably missing the title page. Rare. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall . Good Plus. Green Pebbled Cloth Hardback. Circa 1878-9/as Per Text..
