Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is sound. These two volumes are numbered 210 out of 250 and are unsigned. Both volumes: Full gilt-stamped vellum bindings, top edges gilt, other edges uncut; Volume I: 254 pages, illustrated with b/w plates; Volume II:pages 255 to 529, illustrated with b/w plates. Both volumes: covers rubbed and slightly bowed as is common with full vellum bindings, corners and spine ends bumped and slightly worn, spines toned, some wrinkled pages, small stains scattered throughout, ; Volume I: some black spots on front cover, lacks ffep; Volume II: small stain on spine, generally good+ and highly readable.
