Sm 4to, [48] pp. First edition, first printing with letter 'I' on the verso of the title page. Small chips on the cover. Front flap has a summary of the book. Back flap has an advertisement for War Bonds. Dime sized brown spot visible on the inside of the jacket. Jacket in mylar. Caldecott Award Winner, 1944. Beautiful copy in original jacket. Clipped on all four corners. Salmon cloth covered boards with black text. Book is in beautiful condition. Top and bottom of spine are bent in. No markings.
