New York: Harry N. Abrams, 1980 First edition. Hardcover book . White cloth, gilt titles to spine, and pictorial dustjacket. 363pp, large quarto. With 354 illustrations including 84 colour plates. First section by Schwartz on 1500-1800, then second section by Ehrenberg to present. Good in Good jacket, now in clear sleeve. Clean and bright, a little brown spotting to edges of cloth and top page edges, binding sound though split to back internal hinge. Jacket large;ly clean, a few small marks and creases, the back panel has for some reason been cropped by about an inch plus the flap (image not affected). Heavy Volume may require extra postage.
