Additionally the stain did Not cause any stiffness to the leaves. There is a former bookstore's store label attached to the inside of the front board that is gold and reads, The Book Shelf, The Doctors' Bldg., 15 Garfield Pl., Cincinnati, OH. In 1986, the Doctors' Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The end pages and the insides of both covers are fully illustrated in color. The inside top right corner of the front cover has a "peel-away" that measures approx. 2 x 2. This book is generously illustrated, both in color and black & white, by Mr. Gruelle. 94 pages + 1 page that lists other titles by Mr. Gruelle and Three Famous Dolls that were available in 12" and 30". The color illustrations are soft and very charming. .
