Edinburgh and London, William Blackwood and Sons, , 1883. 1883 xiii, 265 p. 19 cms. Publisher's decorated taupe cloth which is lightly rubbed on the spine ends. Light spotting to the page edges, internally clean and tight. Bookplate on the front pastedown. A very good copy. The Introductioin informs us that Mrs. Sim was housekeeper at Rossdhu House, seat of Sir James Colquhoun and Luss. A scarce Sottish cookery book with distinctive Scottish recipes includinga receipt for heron soup.
