Sauk City: Arkham House, 1944. First Edition. Near Fine/Fine. First edition, first printing in original unclipped ($3.00) jacket in protective sheet. A selection of ghost-writing (as Houdini), revisions, essays, juvenilla, fragments, and illustrations by H.P. Lovecraft; and including letters and memories of H.P. Lovecraft from others. The jacket is in Fine condition. Bound in black over boards with yellow lettering on the spine. Some rubbing to the covers and edges with gently bumped corners. Small bookplate in upper left corner of front pastedown. Long edge has some small spots with very minor marginal coloring, otherwise the interior is clean and clear.
