From the author of 'Marie de Pompadour', an in-depth look at the somewhat tragic life of the last Queen of France. 387 pages, with Notes, Index, and Bibliography, as well as a section of photos, 6" x 9". Translated from the French by Catherine Temerson. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. Only minor edge wear to the jacket. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Sturdy cover boards, with cloth covered spine are flat, only very minor edge wear to the cover boards. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Binding is tight. This is not a remainder, not a library copy. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
