Shallow dimple to the top edge of the rear wrap; top edge of text block is a little dust toned with a 25mm blue horizontal line across it; small spot on the fore edge, bottom edge gently scuffed; mild toning to back cover; light horizontal rippling (maximum of 25mm of damage) in the centre of the top margins on pp. 323-380, otherwise clean and bright throughout. Marine Mammals and Noise discusses, among many other topics, just how well marine mammals hear, how noisy the oceans have become, and what effects these new sounds have on marine mammals.
