Acknowl, abbrev, five chaps (The Writer and the Bible; To the Holy Land; Three Biblical Images; The Attack on the Bible; Conclusion); notes, index. Condition notes: a good plus first printing, signed by author on front free endpaper: moderate wear/staining/rubbing to unclipped dustjacket. Binding sound and square, corners bumped, spine ends rolled, foxing to edges; interior unmarked but shows general tanning and, specifically, dark spotting to hinges at endpapers and for adjacent two pages at front/rear. The three biblical images considered in detail are: Adam and Eve and Fall; Noah and the flood; and the parable of the Prodigal Son. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
