A very good, clean, tight copy in original publisher's burgundy cloth boards - gilt embossed to the spine and to the front board. A very good or very good minus, essentially clean, tight copy. No jacket. Some foxing to the endpapers and several light marks to the fore-edges.Slight splits to the heads of both gutters - both boards remain very firmly attached. The extreme tips of a few page corners have been turned. Over all, a very good copy of this classic work of reference - in all 1095 pages.
