Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing Co. Very Good. 1968. First Edition Thus. Hardcover. Previous owner's name and address label on front paste-down endpaper; both upper corners bumped . Brown cloth covered boards with gilt lettering (somewhat faded). 402 pages. This three-part series is a valuable record of North Carolina marriages and deaths covering the entire state for the period 1799 through 1867. This 1826-1845 volume is devoted to marriages and contains about 8,000 entries under the names of both bride and groom. Part II, the deaths, contains about 4,000 entries. The information given includes full name, place of residence, date and place of marriage and death, name of newspaper, and date of publication. .
