About This Item

New York: Liveright Publishing Corporation, 1950. Hardcover. 320p., later printing of [Horace] Liveright's first copyright, in 1929; hard bound in dark red cloth boards lettered silverfoil and enclosed in the dust jacket. The book itself has nice design features, like double headbands and large-font type, just has a hint of age, while the orange dust jacket is mildly edgeworn with tiny tears at top and tail fold-lines, a touch of sunning to spine panel, and is price-clipped. A very good copy. The dust jacket bears a printed announcement that Russell received a Nobel Prize for literature; that occurred in 1950.
