NY: Derrydale Press. NF. 1938. First Edition/Limited. Hardcover. First edition, #667/1250 numbered copies bound in red cloth with leath er title labels stamped in gilt. Illustrated by Edwin Megargee. Tall 8 vo size, 152pp. Nice copy has a slightly dusty spine and an indention on one page from a paper clip that was left on too long. The top edge of the facing page has a few small streaks of rust from the offending (Now removed) clip. Otherwise fine inside and out. Martha Doyle was th e author's favorite horse. .
