New York: The American News Company, 1865. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair. 12mo. [1], iv, 297 pages, [2]. Brown cloth hardcover ruled in blind on the covers with gilt title on the spine. Fading to the cloth binding. Small scuffed spot on the spine. Top edge darkened. Light edge wear to the head and base of the spine and corners. Some light spotting to the dark end papers front and back. Hinges are in good condition. Interior text is clean. "Geo. W. Alexander Binder New-York" small book seller label located on the bottom left corner of the rear end sheet. Scarce. Few auction records recorded. Few copies held in OCLC (3 found through various search attempts). A fair or good copy.
