Bound in blue boards with nearly full front cover color pictorial paste-on and gilt spine lettering. Color frontis and numerous full page and smaller illustrations in two or three color by Margaret G Hays & Jane Allen Boyer. The classic beginning cook book for the little girl learning to cook in the days of wood cooking stoves. This book was published in several formats up into the 1920's. This copy in the remnants of the original dust wrapper. A book store price label at the rear shows $2.00. Book with slight wear ; fading at spine top.
