About the development of attitudes from the intense competitiveness of small owners in the last century to the modern realisation that a great national industry needs cooperation guided by fair arbitration. The main purpose is to show the influence of the Association and how it has helped significantly in the general development of the printing industry. The book would be of interest to anyone who had been involved in the industry, and would be valuable to historians and students. The photos are revealing.
