About This Item

New York, New York: Abbeville Press , 1978. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Masterpieces of Tutankhamun show the reader of this work in full color illustrations, 73 of the marvellous things archaeologist Howard Carter found. This work shows the reader objects too fragile or too large to be send abroad by the Egyptian government. An oversized work of 159 pages including a bibliography. Covers are white cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. There is just a touch of wear at the head and tail of the spine. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality cover. At the top of the spine of the dj there is a small tear of about 1/16th of an inch. At the bottom of the spine there is a bookholders.com number sticker. A quite nice copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box! BX109
