About This Item
Adyar, India: The Theosophist Office, 1912. 1st . Paperback. Fair. Apparent first printing of this rare and very fragile item, with Ernest S. Suffern's signature on the half-title page. 66 pp., 12mo format in cream softcover wraps with front titles. This copy bears the Lucis Trust bookplate inside the front cover, rear library pocket, etc. A very fragile copy, missing the backstrip. Also the front cover is detached and has soiling tears and edge-chipping. Rear cover is similar but barely attached. Sewn binding is shaken but hanging on. Modest "old book" smell. A Fair copy of this very scarce item with interesting association.
