There are light bumps to the corners of the boards. Otherwise, the binding is tight and solid, with a bright dustjacket, protected for some time by a Mylar sleeve, and a clean, unmarked interior. Text in English, with illustrations primarily in color, including several gatefold pages. Most of the writings are English translations of French documents written at the time of the original production of the paintings presented..
