But when Prohibition ends, Giorgio's son, Pietro, must find a new way to make money. In the 1970s, Pietro begins to make wine from Matorni's own grapes, and the family's fortunes begin to change. But as Pietro's children take over the winery, the family finds itself struggling to keep up with the changing times. In the end, Pietro's grandson, Gianni, is able to keep Matorni's Vineyard afloat, and the family is able to pass the winery on to the next generation in a much stronger position.; 8vo; 308 pages .
