London: The Library Press Ltd. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo: 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Collection of small articles originally published in newspapers (The Star, The Outlook, and The Sphere) between 1910 and 1918. First published in book form in 1919. This undated copy is one of "The Minerva Editions of Modern Authors" issued by The Library Press of London in the 1920s or possibly the 1930s. Quite a handsome little book: faux leather boards with embossed edges, gilt accents and titling. Front board features a decorative motif in gilt and green with the author's initials. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. Page marking ribbon sewn in. Mildly worn but still square and no markings.
