About This Item
Possibly unpublished, 1947. Typescript. Good. Fragile (mimeo) typescript in plastic sleeves, with zerox copy (for reading). Possibly unpublished. Planck's discovery of energy quanta won him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918. Planck's fame as a physicist rests primarily on his role as the originator of quantum theory. Gruneisen was, with Max Planck, editor of Annalen der Physik. This appears to be an address, a tribute by Gruneisen to Planck's life and work. Planck died in October, 1947.
