New York: Vanguard, 1951. Early Printing. Hardcover. Fair. Quarto. 8 x 10.75 in. vii, 157 pp. Fair in the original black boards that have ordinary wear along the edges and corners. The binding and pages are intact, but the exterior spine is loosened and the pages are tanned and have periodic foxing throughout. Inscribed on the front free endpaper, "With many kind wishes for a wonderful year for the WIlliams in England. Marshall McLuhan." A prior owner's gift inscription appears below McLuhan's signature.
