Small olive-cloth hardcover with gilt lettering on spine; brown lettering and decorations on front; no jacket; all edges of text block painted red; 576 pages; three dates on title page : 1890, 1895, 1898...so third printing. Very good minus condition: a little soiling and rubbing on front; light wear to edge of binding with slight loss of cloth but mostly a little loss of color; straight; hinges strong; pages slightly toned and a couple of creases. New plastic protective jacket..
