Geneva,: Grande Pharmacie Finck,, 1891.. 155, [i] pp. Small 8vo (13 x 19,5 cm.). Original half cloth (faded and damp stained) with coloured pictorial boards (a bit rubbed and stained). With some figures and 5 charming coloured tinted wood-engraved plates (loosely inserted). ¶ The rare first English edition of Grande Pharmacie Finck & A La Croix Rouge's "Guide Médical...". Including a price list of patent medicines, perfumery, proprietary articles, etc. and several leaves of advertisements for Finck's "specialities". The tinted 5 plates are of particular interest, besides the printing process (tinted zincography), they show the wonderful interiors of Geneva's most famous pharmacy store of the 19th century.
