Boynton, with his small, printed ownership label. Signed by Josiah Rose, probably the Coventry, Connecticut, doctor. An inscription to Josiah Rose from his father Frederick. Leather bound, heavily used, with rubbing to the covers. Missing the front free endpaper. The binding is fairly sound, the pages are rippled and have age spots, the index section of pages is stained, the endpapers are heavily used and stained.
