Berlin, Christian Friedrich Himburg, 1793. The most successful work of Selle (1748-1800), personal physician to King Friedrich II the Great, whose case history he published in 1786, and to both Friedrich Wilhelm II and III. Eight editions of the present book were published, and it was translated into several languages.
