Clean crisp interior text but some spotting on top page edges, binding is loose in pastedowns with a separation gap at head of spine, minimal shelf wear to boards. Book is in overall excellent condition. Dust Jacket is in good condition with faint edge wear, chipped at head of spine and one corner, frayed at tail of spine, the faces are in very good state. Survey of the social history, geopolitics and military conflicts of the Mediterranean basin with emphasis on the period 1550-1600 A. D. Illustrations, paginated 657 to 1375.
